Such Bad News is the kinda songs that are going to turn your head...twice...rebelling, intimate, and different!

‘Such Bad News’ is an album written in a new style by artist John Organ. It is a deliberate set of messages reflecting on local heroes and international events that I try to help put into our own sense and sound; “Guns and Badges” A song for the rebel, the realist, and for all of us tired of the injustices and insanity of the cops who have us wondering )and mistrusting) their prejudicial and menacing actions on the black population, and anyone who challenges their WASP existences. Be Ready! “Ton of Pain” mingles hard felt blues with the ballad of one who balances the world on hers/his shoulders. ‘Two thousand pounds and a ton of pain’ is part of that new blues sound that combines pain, loose change and the insane! “Such Bad News” has sexual overtones dominating the theme of one that is just bad news! A catchy tune that leaves you smirking and tongue in cheek…you’ll love it! “Mother Child” is a hauntingly special tune that touches on the dark side of life, family, society, culture, what one fears, and events a life must leave behind to move on spiritually. A haunting and seductive tune leaving you looking backwards, and forwards: cautiously… “Cold Comfort” is an ode to Josh and Eagles of Death Metal’s fateful night at the Bata clan, Paris on November 14. It wants to challenge the pain, terror and anger best summed up by Josh when he commented that everything left over from that horrible night is merely ‘cold comfort’. “Escape in Time” You’ll be singing this over at work, in the shower, in your mind! A magnetic tune about a lady with a passion who escapes time to visit icons of the past where she explores their music, messages and lives. “Kiss Your Luck” is a song about Joh Homme (Baby Duck); how this genius has influenced Music and Us internationally for the last twenty years, and more. He is the nucleus that musical artists have evolved around…Grohl, Iggy Pop, Death Metal, Crippled Vultures, Queens of Stone Age… “Overwhelmed” is the feeling! A feeling shown to and shared with whoever listens. A high point in the New Sound I wish to pass on to the clever, the classless and Overwhelmed! Don’t miss this one! “No Rehearsals” …or ‘I wanna be worthy of my own Death’ is a new sound that comes from the heart, resonates from the gut, and is offered by the soul on the topic of not cheating death and living out ones karma to the end. Great song. “Scream” for those who have a regard for life, and disgust for it’s realities. What else is there to do but…Scream! Song has you looking inwardly and outwardly at everything life has to throw at you.

“These Ain’t Teardrops” is a beautiful blues ballad that stirs the pot passionately! “Slippery Slope to Passion” an upbeat, moving rhythm and blues that has toes tappin’ and grins widenin’. Great ending to a album you don’t wanna miss!

'Sky so Dark' is another step in the right direction for singer song writer John Organ. Some soulful and blue grassy ballads are sure to help you relax and reload. A country ballad to Gram Parsons and a rocker to Keith Moon sets the table for desert. A touching horn backed song to those who never came home from battles won or lost. A bit of Keith guitar takes you on a trip in "The Race", While "Kleopatra" contains inspirational piano leading you to my tune "Beau Jenny", inspired by Gord Himself.
Another magnificent country ballad puts you in the right place when you hear 'If some ones gonna win, then some ones gotta lose". "Country Honk" is a toe tapper that includes everything and everyone in the world of country music and bluegrass. Enjoy!

Songs to the climate, songs to Sly Stone, blues and ballads that bear me to the bone.

One Inspiration for this patch come from stolen royalties for Sly Stone in a bluesy heart pounding song with great vocals, A southern rock rendition in Neon Blue bring out the band's great sound with Bob Doidge (Tranquility Base), Vince Renaldo piano, Danny Lockwood (Stompin Toms drummer), and Frank Koren on guitars, while I, John, am singer songwriter. Gripping blues on 'Heavy on my Heart' and Irish ballads Like "I am so God damned Irish" remind everyone of why blues tell the story when everyone else stopped caring. A hard blues album with some tender fresh ballads of love and love lost, time and time cost. Great band, great songs. But you gotta listen...

My songs are blues, rock, and spiritual genres with a super group that tell my influences reflecting artists including Jim Morrison, Mohammed Ali, John Kennedy, and questioning all social events that leave us howling why!

Super group, super studio at Grant Ave in Hamilton where Johnny Cash, U2, Emmy Lou Harris, and name one great relevant group today who hasn't recorded there. Songs influenced and inspired by Johnny Depp, Jim Morrison, JFK as well as the Buddha himself weave their way in my mind and out my mouth. Band members include Drummer Dan Lockwood from Stompin Tom Connors band, Bob Doidge from Tranquility Base, timeless Vince Renaldo on organ piano, guitarist Frank Koren when not on tours from Europe to the moon, Amy King producing and myself, John Organ; singer song writer. Blues and rock genres combined with my own type of music address the artists, social events and spiritual influences of the ages. Enjoy!

Blues rock and ballads inspired by other musicians and word events

I have some great musicians in my band from Stompin Tom Connors drummer Dan Lockwood, Bob Doidge from Tranquility Base, renowned Vince Renaldo on piano organ and Amy King producing. My music genres include blues, rock, and my own space capsule kind of sound. Inspirations come from fiction and reality; fellow musicians and todays cup of tea. I am a song writing machine. Tune in and see what turns your key.
